Text

João Louro distils Aldous Huxley’s dystopian vision into a stark, minimalist abstraction. A dark, textured surface becomes a void of erased ideals and latent possibilities, bridging utopia and impermanence. The work’s quiet tension invites viewers to peek beyond the visible and confront what lingers when progress fades into shadow.
