Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and CAM honoured by Meios & Publicidade
The communication strategy for the opening of the new CAM – Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian building, organised by the Gulbenkian Foundation and the communication agency M Public Relations, won the 2024 Grand Prize.
Redesigned by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma in collaboration with landscape architect Vladimir Djurovic, the new CAM building opened its doors on 21 September 2024, after being closed for four years. The Opening Party on the inaugural weekend attracted thousands of visitors, who explored exhibitions showcasing works from CAM Collection, as well as shows by artists Leonor Antunes and Fernando Lemos, and Japanese artists Go Watanabe and Yasuhiro Morinaga.
In addition to the Grand Prize, the Foundation and CAM were also honoured in five other categories:
The selection of the winners was the responsibility a jury chaired by Maria Domingas Carvalhosa, CEO of Wisdom and president of the Portuguese Association of Communication Companies (APECOM), and made up of 13 other professionals from the sector.
