All I Want – Portuguese women artists from 1900 to 2020

Tudo o que eu quero – Artistas portuguesas de 1900 a 2020

The travelling exhibition All I want brings together around 200 works by 40 Portuguese women artists, created between 1900 and 2020. Curated by Helena de Freitas (CAM) and Bruno Marchand (Culturgest), this exhibition was presented at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 2021, before travelling to Tours, where it can be seen at the Centre de Création Contemporaine Olivier Debré until 4 September.

The publication that accompanies All I Want is an important study object, that goes beyond the temporary exhibition, including research texts about each artist, written by more than 30 collaborators – authors, curators and researchers.

It also presents an essay by the curators, that introduces us to the process of conceiving the exhibition and its purpose of trying to invert the historical obliteration of women and their artistic production throughout history. Extensively illustrated, the publication includes images of all the exhibited works, as well as a complete list of the selection.
