Held to mark the 25th anniversary of Sintra’s inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List of Cultural Landscapes, the exhibition No Reino das Nuvens: os Artistas e a Invenção de Sintra [In the Kingdom of the Clouds: Artists and the Invention of Sintra], which is being hosted by the Sintra Museum of the Arts, seeks to celebrate this region, which has always attracted artists and fed their creativity.

Organised into sections, the selected pieces, from the Sintra Municipal Art Collection, as well as the collections of municipal and national museums and contemporary artists, explore the relationship between artists and Sintra and includes works of art, archaeological objects and literature connected to the region.
