CAM’s mission and vision

CAM aims to unlock the transformational power of art to enable personal and societal change. 

We believe that, by harnessing this power together with a wide range of audiences, we can provide impactful experiences of change with respect to ourselves, our world, and the role each of us plays in shaping a common future.

With this in mind, we seek to stimulate new relationships between ideas, people, generations, objects, stories, and communities. We are committed to promoting a connection between the artistic sphere and the civic domain in approaching real-world issues, aiming to influence transformation at a local, national, and global level.

Time being a scarce commodity, we aim to design our cultural spaces and programmes so that everyone can experience art in a way that is integrated in their daily lives. We believe art should be within everyone’s reach and think of CAM as an accessible and welcoming space. We seek to provide immersive artistic experiences and a closer connection with nature and science. We imagine a visit to CAM as a walk in the park, to unwind but also to reflect on the world and its complexity.
