In 'We Should All Be Dreaming', Sonya Lindfors and Maryan Abdulkarim create a space where we come together to dream of possible and impossible futures, over the course of a dinner party.

Initiated in 2018 by the two artists, both interested in radical utopian and decolonial practices, the project presented here in partnership with Alkantara Festival focus on the radical potential of dreaming as a restorative and subversive practice.

Situating itself between a think tank, a choreographed gathering and a performance, the show does not only react to or reveal the grim realities of the world but also works as a platform of resistance by making space for communal coexistence.

The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation reserves the right to collect and keep records of images, sounds and voice for the diffusion and preservation of the memory of its cultural and artistic activity. For further information, please contact us through the Information Request form.
