In this workshop, participants are invited to (de)construct their own portraits, inspired by works of Portuguese modernism from the CAM collection.
What exactly is a collection? Who are the collectors? Which objects, gestures, sounds or words do we choose to bring together – and why?
In this tour-workshop, we explore the theme of collecting. We are in the Museum, a place where what is kept gains meaning and tells stories.
We propose moments of sharing: each participant is invited to reveal their own collection – whether of objects, memories or ideas – while the mediators also share theirs.
