Location
Engawa Space Centro de Arte Moderna GulbenkianTo celebrate the International Women’s Day, we are presenting a very special event combining activism, debate, listening and performance.
‘Lei da Paridade’ [Parity Law] is a podcast born of the friendship between Adriana Cardoso, Leonor Rosas and Maria Castello Branco, three women with different ideas and paths in life, but united in the desire to give a voice to a generation ready to break boundaries in a world still dominated by men. The podcast is widely acclaimed for offering a specialised female perspective on Portuguese politics and society.
This event features a live podcast episode focused on the theme of gender violence, more specifically harassment, epistemological violence, and the erasure of women from history, as well as transformative public policies and relevant paths for the feminist struggle.
The reflection and debate will continue with guests Clara Não, Damara Inglês, and Rita Ferro Rodrigues, ending with a Q&A session open to the public.
