Engawa Gulbenkian GardenNídia is an internationally acclaimed Afro-Portuguese DJ and electronic music producer based in Vale da Amoreira, on the south bank of the Tagus river.
The artist has played a decisive role as part of the label and artistic collective Príncipe Discos, both as an individual artist and as a community participant, bringing a progressive ethic and aesthetic to the international alternative dance music and to kuduro culture in particular.

Nídia made her debut in 2015 with ‘Danger’ and her latest album, released in 2023, is called ‘95 MINDJERES’ as a tribute to the battalion of 95 young women who fought for Guinea-Bissau’s independence in the 1960s.
The DJ has played all over the world, from documenta in Kassel and the Barbican Centre to festivals such as Primavera Sound and Sónar Barcelona, has co-produced tracks for renowned electronic music artist Fever Ray, and has produced remixes for other artists such as Kelela, Yaeji, Elza Soares, and Perfume Genius.
For the opening of CAM, Nídia will unleash her infectious beat with an irresistible set, creating a space of communion and freedom through dance.
