In collaboration with Filho Único, our Opening Party offers a celebratory programme with some of the most exciting names in music today. Spanning different genres and geographies, the evening kicks off with the experimental jazz of Nala Sinephro.

Sinephro is a celebrated Caribbean-Belgian composer, producer and musician based in London. Her work fuses meditative sounds, jazz sensibilities, folk and field recordings. Her musical practice is rooted in the study of frequency and geometry and is guided by the premise that sound moves matter.

After a debut album, ‘Space 1.8’, from 2021, composed, produced, performed, recorded and mixed by Sinephro at the age of 22, the artist recently released her much-anticipated new work, ‘Endlessness’. With the collaboration of 21 string musicians from Orchestrate, this album delves into the cycles of existence and renewal, incorporating jazz, orchestral and electronic music.

Performing for the first time in Portugal, Sinephro’s electrifying live performance will evoke life, mourning, rebirth, change and joy.
