Goblet-marked Damselfly
Erythromma lindenii
This species is found from the Middle East and North Africa to Southern and Central Europe. It is well distributed throughout mainland Portugal. They inhabit broad bodies of water and can be seen at the Gulbenkian Garden’s lake, where males fly just a few centimetres above the surface.
