Man with a bib

Regarding the etching Man with a Bib:

It was composed from a drawing I made in 1963 of my father who was detained in a mental institution in the UK. The original drawing was one of a sequence of him in the hospital bed. The etching was made 17 years later primarily using direct etching and mezzotint tools.

There is another drawing in that sequence which is in the collection of The Yale Centre for British Art, New Haven, Connecticut, USA.
