An old hat, remains of shoes, and two garden rakes, in the midst of what are probably the leftovers and scraps of a paring, are enough to deter Lemos’ look, in all probability seeing more, or something else, than what appears to be. In fact, the presence of these human elements counters the formless drawing produced by the trunks stacked against a wall, suggesting an elusive anthropomorphic presence. This vision is certainly due to the poet, painter and graphic artist which coexisted with the photographer in Fernando Lemos' activity.
