Volunteering Matters

Volunteering Matters received £60,000 for piloting Engage and Transform, a scheme to break down cultural barriers and develop a long-term partnership of mutual benefit between public and social sector organisations.

The overall aim of the pilot programme was to engage more civil servants and others working in Government departments in meaningful community engagements activities, thereby increasing and improving understanding and ways of working between the public and charity sectors.
