Jasmin Vardimon Company

The Jasmin Vardimon Company (JVC) has been supported to establish the Creative Laboratory, a vibrant hub of cultural activity in Ashford, Kent. JVC seeks to grow a community arts network and maximise the impact afforded by the new space, to ensure the building and offered programme fulfil its potential in growing civic participation and community pride, creating a meaningful resource to be shared with other organisations in the UK and internationally. The Foundation has contributed with a £70,000 grant.

Following its opening in January 2020, the Jasmin Vardimon Pop Up Space hosted classes, events and information about the company, engaging hundreds of local participants aged before March. During the first COVID-19 lockdown, JVC transitioned its activity online, further engaging thousands of participants from around the world.

The opening of the new Creative Laboratory is now scheduled towards the end of phase 2 in Spring 2022.
