Auditions are organized with a the purpose of establishing a list of additional musicians who can reinforce and cover the specific needs of various projects at the Gulbenkian Orchestra. The auditions for the Gulbenkian Orchestra have a prospective/indicative nature and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation reserves itself the right not to accept  any of the candidates present in the audition, regardless of their classification.

Please apply sending an email with your CV to [email protected] .Players who have performed with the Gulbenkian Orchestra in the last two seasons do not need to take part in the auditions. The closing date for applications is Sunday, 18th June 2017, by 24h00. Please use the same email address for any queries regarding the auditions.

 

Auditions

Dates and Schedules

The auditions will take place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s Main Building, in Lisbon, Portugal (Avenida de Berna, 45A, 1067-001 Lisboa), on the  27th June 2017.

The schedule for the audition day will be the following:

• 9:00 – Presentation and check-in opening
• 10:00 – Auditions start

 

Auditioning order

The order of the auditions will be defined by the arrival order at the venue. Every candidate must be accompanied by a valid identification document.

 

Juri

The jury for the audition will be composed by Gulbenkian Orchestra members.

Costs

The Gulbenkian Orchestra will not bear any costs regarding accommodation or traveling for the auditions.
