Having has performed all Beethoven’s Piano Concertos in Gulbenkian Music in 2013, with the Gulbenkian Orchestra and conductor Lawrence Foster, the Austrian pianist Rudolf Buchbinder now returns for a two-concert cycle in which he will play another of his favourite composers: Johannes Brahms. Lawrence Foster also returns to his artistic association with the Gulbenkian Orchestra to conduct the first two major works that Stravinsky completed after his arrival in the United States.
