For the second year in a row, the Argentine pianist Martha Argerich returns to be reunited with the Gulbenkian Music audience, this time bringing her duet with the Russian Lilya Zilberstein, with whom she has regularly performed in recent years to the delight of audiences around the world. This collaboration, recorded on disc in a definitive interpretation of Brahms’ Sonata for two Pianos, and with Zilberstein’s participation in Martha Argerich and Friends: Live from the Lugano Festival, one of the highlights on the joint tour celebrating 20 years of Zilberstein’s career in 2009.
