
Gulbenkian Orchestra at home
Gulbenkian Música will continue to broadcast a series of performances that recently took place at the Grand Auditorium. The concerts will be streamed every Tuesday and Friday, at 19:00, on the digital platforms of the Gulbenkian Foundation.

Beethoven’s 2nd Symphony
Conductor Hannu Lintu leads the Gulbenkian Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven’s 2nd symphony, a special concert that was also a tribute to the German composer’s genius.

Haydn’s Cello Concerto
Amalie Stalheim, one of the worlds most promising cellists, interprets this famous piece with the Gulbenkian Orchestra, conducted by Nuno Coelho.

Mendelssohn’s 3rd Symphony
Under the direction of Nuno Coelho, the Gulbenkian Orchestra performs one of Mendelssohn’s masterpieces, also known as “Scottish Symphony”.

Martinů’s Oboe Concerto
An important name in Modernism, Bohuslav Martinů composed this piece in 1955. Watch the Gulbenkian Orchestra and Pedro Ribeiro performing it, conducted by Mihhail Gerts.

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6
Giancarlo Guerrero returned to the Grand Auditorium in October to conduct Beethoven’s “Pastoral”, his famous 6th Symphony that culminates with a gratitude hymn towards Nature.
