Stephanie Abson was born in England. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music, in London, with Yfrah Neaman, and in Tel Aviv with Felix Andrievsky. She has played with the City of London Sinfonia, English Sinfonia, London Contemporary Dance, Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Opera ’80. As a member of a string ensemble, she played in Tours, France. In 1997, she played string quartets in the United States. She joined the Gulbenkian Orchestra in 1985.
