The Polish-Hungarian pianist Piotr Anderszewski found himself to be completely won over by the food, the architecture and the light of Lisbon, when he decided some years ago to buy a house in Portugal. He found it the perfect setting in which to devote himself to the process of absorbing a piece until the two merged into an interpretation: «I spend months alone in a room creating a single entity between the piece, myself and the piano, then I go on stage and try to make a performance out of this entity”, he told The Herald. “I have an urge to share what I feel about a piece».
