Coro Gulbenkian

A surprising, exclusive concert devised in a very particular way for the monumentality and the architectural beauty of the National Pantheon. Under the baton of Jorge Matta, the Gulbenkian Choir will present a programme aimed at exploring the relationship with the very distinctive, enveloping acoustics of this venue, through a selection of works that will take the public on a journey through five centuries of music, from the polyphony of Carlo Gesualdo and Giovanni da Palestrina to the contemporaneity of György Ligeti and Arvo Pärt.
