Five signs that spring is on its way to look out for in February and March

A naturalist in the Gulbenkian Garden

Even on the gray, cold days that often mark the last winter month, there are little clues around that indicate that this time of rest and recollection is coming to an end. It’s because spring does not follow official calendars and is already taking its first steps in the Garden. Look for these and other signs of the change of season in the Gulbenkian Garden and other green areas.

How many of these signs can you find? The challenge is to photograph or draw any signs of spring’s arrival and share your images with us, sending them to [email protected]. We will publish the best in Wilder magazine.

Every month, Wilder magazine suggests the nature not to be missed in the Gulbenkian Garden.
