I follow the religion of Love:
whatever way Love’s camels take,
that is my religion and my faith.

— IBN ʿARABĪ

Based on the artworks displayed in the exhibition Divine Wisdom: The Sufi Way and poems such as this one by Ibn ʿArabī (1165-1240), we will explore the interconnections between visual arts and poetic creation.

Looking at works of art from Portugal, India, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Egypt, and Turkey, we will interpret the visual records, written poems, and sound pieces produced for the exhibition in a dual approach to the creative process and the way we communicate emotions.

All tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance.
