Report 2013

More than ever, it is the mission of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to take a pro-active role in civil society, in particular protecting its most vulnerable groups and promoting the adoption of effective and innovative solutions. A democratic society demands a more inclusive community.

In 2013, therefore, the Foundation continued to honour its founder’s legacy, relying on central structures staffed with highly skilled collaborators who show the utmost professional dedication. With the publication of this report, here in an abbreviated version, the stakeholders of the Foundation’s activity will be able to evaluate our performance and the impact of our intervention, as well as being able to contextualise the reasons for what we do.
