The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is a private institution whose fundamental purpose is to improve people’s quality of life through art, charity, science, and education. The Foundation operates from its headquarters in Lisbon and its branches in Paris and London.

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join the Central Services team. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the warehouse, including its physical and human resources. The manager ensures the accounting information’s accuracy, safeguarding the proper conditions required for the preservation of stored materials, and minimizing losses and irregularities through periodic checks of the state of materials and partial counts.

Contractual conditions: Permanent employment contract

Main responsibilities

  • Coordinate the warehouse team, ensuring the distribution of tasks to ensure that all needs are met.
  • Manage vacation, leaves, and absences to ensure the proper functioning of the warehouse.
  • Ensure the resolution of discrepancies identified by store employees.
  • Control and monitor warehouse stocks.
  • Guide the preparation of warehouse inventories, collecting all necessary information for the production of the respective report.
  • Oversee the validation of all received materials, ensuring they correspond to the requisitioned items.

Required skills

  • 12th-grade, a degree in Logistics or similar areas (preferable).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP (preferable).
  • Archive management.
  • Forklift operation capacity.
  • Proficiency in IMM and WM (Warehouse Management).
