Higher Education Scholarship for Armenian Students in Developing Countries

For Students of Armenian origin


Higher education students who are no more than 25 years old at the time of the application, enrolled in a recognized higher education institution.

The scholarships are open to all disciplines, and are awarded based on merit only. Students must be studying in their own country of residence; students wishing to study in Armenia will also be considered. This scholarship category focuses principally on undergraduate students, but graduate students will also be considered.


The aim of the Calouste Gulbenkian Higher Education Scholarships is to encourage university students of Armenian origin from less developed countries, particularly in the Middle East, to obtain higher education in any field in a recognized university in their own country of residence or in Armenia. Degrees in the social sciences will be privileged in 2022.
