North-American director Jesse Dylan follows George Soros, financial investor, criticised in different political quarters, for defending social causes from free elections and freedom of press to civil rights for minorities.
George Soros proves to be a complex figure, influenced by central European origin and his experience of the Holocaust. The film includes interviews with Soros’ family and friends, leaders of organisations financed by him, academics and world leaders, shedding light on his entrepreneurship nature, his philanthropic action and political activism.
