BIO
HAUT lives and works between Berlin and London. From his former experience as a psychiatrist, HAUT explores sound as a means of connection, viewing bodies as sites of process, open systems that connect to other humans, non-humans and technology. His work ranges from live performances and immersive sound installations to musical scores for dance pieces and film. Recent exhibitions and live performances include music for Vampires in Space - Venice Biennale (2022), Liverpool Biennale (2021), HAU - Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, Germany (2020); Castello di Rivoli Turin, Italy (2019); Gasworks London, UK (2019); Pérez Art Museum of Miami, USA (2018); Dock 11 Berlin, Germany (2018); Kunsthalle Zurich, Switzerland (2018). HAUT is a PhD candidate in Computational Arts at Goldsmiths College/University of London, investigating the application of biotechnologies to develop new forms of musical performance.
