Brahm’s 3rd
Gulbenkian Orchestra and Choir / Lorenzo Viotti
Event Slider
After a remarkable period as Principal Conductor from 2018 to 2021, Lorenzo Viotti will re-establish his deep-seated connection with the Gulbenkian Choir and Orchestra. He will conduct an ambitious programme in the Grand Auditorium that will then later tour Vienna, Munich and Cologne. A fan of innovative and stimulating concerto pairings, Viotti will perform Brahms and Mozart side by side and an Agnus Dei by the contemporary Latvian composer Pēteris Vasks, reminding us that the past and present are never totally separate.
