Selection procedure for all position levels

 

Step 1: Application submission and initial selection.

Applications should be received between January 20th and February 24th, 2020.

Applicants will be informed whether they have passed this first selection step within three weeks of the closing date for applications. Those selected will be invited to a two-day Symposium at the IGC (step 2).

 

Step 2: Recruitment symposium (April 22nd – 24th, 2020)

Invited applicants will visit the IGC for two days. This visit will include a public Symposium open to all IGC staff during which all candidates will present their past work and research programme in a formal seminar. Following the Symposium, each candidate will be interviewed and give a chalk talk to a panel of IGC Group Leaders and outside experts.

The Direction of the IGC will contact every candidate with final decisions and offers will be made within two months after the symposium.
