As part of the strong collaboration that both institutions, IGC and MERCK, have maintained over the years, the recent meeting allowed to look into current projects and to assess new opportunities for the future. 

Aligned with central themes such as democratization of science, diversity, equity and inclusion, together the IGC and MERCK have been creating an ecosystem that strongly enhances science at different levels.

Projects such as Lab in a Box, Lab in a Suitcase or the António Coutinho Science Awards have shown impressive results for the different audiences they target. At this meeting it was possible to assess the impact achieved, align new strategies and identify opportunities to take science further.
