The 3rd Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência Symposium on “Crosstalks of Immunity and Metabolism” will be held in Oeiras, Portugal, from the 11th to 14th of November 2019.

 

Ruslan Medzhitov will do the Keynote Session at this year’s meeting organized with the aim to bring together experts in immunity and metabolism and promote the discussion on new advances in the understanding of whole-organism physiology. 

 

The IGC Symposium will have a diverse panel of Invited Speakers to promote cooperation and development of multidisciplinary research strategies to better understand the interplay between metabolism and immunity in the context of a variety of pathologic conditions.

 

Limited to 110 attendees, the IGC Symposium, offers a unique opportunity for close interactions with the Invited Speakers and also foster discussions between scientists in a relaxed environment. This is a very unique opportunity for participants from around the world to present and discuss their research in Flash-Talks and Poster Sessions, for which researchers will be pre-selected based on the submitted abstracts. The best selected Flash-Talk and Poster will be awarded a monetary prize, and we will also offer few travel grants to students and postdocs.
