Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência and Centro Hospitalar Lisboa Ocidental, E.P.E. collaborated on SARS-CoV-2 virus surveillance projects in healthcare workers, namely in what concerned the study of vaccine effectiveness. The study followed up a group of 1250 healthcare workers for a period of one year, as this was the only way to understand how long the antibodies were maintained and if any of the study members contracted the disease, what would be the answer triggered.
