Palácio e Jardins do Marquês de PombalFIC.A – International Science Festival will take place from the 12th to the 17th October 2021, at the Marquês de Pombal Palace and Gardens in Oeiras, and will be a truly international celebration of science and knowledge within society. For 6 days, the festival offers a pioneering programme, full of unique experiences in the fields of science, technology, culture and art.
The festival, which proudly bears the high patronage of the Presidency of the Republic in its debut edition, will bring together more than 100 academic, scientific, technological, diplomatic, governmental and non-governmental entities, giving it a unique character and potential in the national and international context. Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência will take part in the event and will promote activities for all audiences.
The programme already offers over 700 activities – including debates, keynote talks, exhibitions, shows, concerts, workshops and masterclasses, among other formats – and includes more than 100 speakers from more than 25 countries. The event is free to enter, but you will need to book your ticket online. You can visit the IGC stand from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm during the 6 days of the event.
