The Active Citizens Fund seeks to promote cooperation between the Portuguese Civil Society and entities from the Donor Countries – Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.

The call for Bilateral Cooperation Initiatives aims to support activities that strengthen the relations between Portuguese NGOs and entities from the donor countries and contribute to the objectives of the Active Citizens Fund.

This call, launched in July 2018, intends to fund short-term international exchanges of experiences, including internships in organisations from the donor countries and participation in conferences, seminars and short-term training actions, and to strengthen contacts between NGOs and other potential partners.

Each initiative can have a maximum support of € 6,000. Expenditure will be eligible until the end of July 2024.

Contacts and cooperation initiatives between Portuguese NGOs and entities from funding countries can be facilitated by the Programme.

Applications close on September 29.
