As part of its ongoing efforts to support Syrian Armenian students caught up in the Syrian Civil War, the Armenian Communities Department is partnering with former Portuguese President Jorge Sampaio’s Global Platform for Syrian Students to award scholarships to students whose education has been interrupted by warfare.

Applications for emergency grants for student support are now open. For more information please visit Jorge Sampaio’s website.

Scholarships will be awarded to candidates who are part of the Armenian community in Syria and have fled the country due to the war. Candidates can apply for this scholarship if they have interrupted their university studies or would like to start their higher education.
